Min Family Photos

It's not hard to enjoy my job when I get to spend time with lovely families and beautiful babies.

I met up with Elyse, Jason and Oliver on Sunday afternoon as the sky began to loom overhead. We originally planned on meeting in "Old Ladner" to take photos at a couple of locations there, but had to quickly change the "game plan" as there was a classic car show happening in the exact location we wanted to use (small towns, right? Shananigans and what not...)

Luckily I knew of a park just down the road that I knew would be perfect for this little families portrait session. In the time it took us to drive over to the new location (5 minutes? 7 maybe?) the clouds had softened and the rain that was 60% likely to annoy us suddenly became as unlikely and preposterous an idea as me entering the Vancouver housing market...

Thank you, weather!

Oliver was a bit puzzled by the stranger with a camera (and my handy helper and husband, Matt, who kept trying to make faces and wave things around behind me in order to attract his attention!) We found great success in playing "peekaboo" from behind my reflector...

Look at this face. No wonder his parents seemed so smitten...

Oliver seemed quite keen on this hill... mostly because he wanted to pull the grass out...

What a fabulous way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Thank you, Min Family!
